The 22nd November is Folkestone’s Xmas lights “switch on” – why not join us afterwards for an evening of music and art to celebrate the launch of a new exhibition featuring all new work by Charlie Chittenden “beautiful disasters, subtitles & christmas cracker bullets” will run for 4 weeks, after which we’ll have a new exhibition by London based George Skeggs (more details to follow).

Space Gallery Folkestone is an independent Art Gallery and project/events space in the heart of Folkestone’s Creative Quarter and can be found at 7 The Old High Street (at the top of the hill).

Folkestone is an exciting and developing town and only 55 minutes from London St Pancras on the new High Speed rail service HS1

Folkestone is home to the “Folkestone Artworks”, the new name for the collection of works originally commissioned by The Creative Foundation for the Folkestone Triennial that are now on permanent display in public spaces in the town. The collection can be enjoyed by residents and visitors of any age, free of charge, all year round. The Creative Foundation are currently planning the next Triennial in 2014 – further details will be released on the Creative Foundation website.
